Baylor University is seeking a Study Abroad Program Coordinator in the Center for Global Engagement. This position is responsible for coordinating, managing, and enforcing all requirements related to multiple student travel abroad programs. Additionally, the Study Abroad Coordinator serves as the primary point of coordination for over 30 faculty led courses that have historically resulted in over 600 students participating annually, representing more than 70% of all study abroad participation on campus.
This position plays a key or complementary role in travel registration, student applicant management, program director training, and compliance issues governing best practices according to the Department of Justice endorsed Forum for Education Abroad Standards (of which Baylor is a member). As part of the fastest growing segment in study abroad nationally, faculty led coordination is mission critical to study abroad running smoothly and effectively.
Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in a Liberal Arts discipline, International Studies, or Business; one year of relevant work experience, and a Christian faith are required. A Master's Degree and three years of relevant work experience are preferred.
