We have an excellent opportunity for a Project Administrator to join Macquarie's Financial Management Group in the Operations Division as an Executive, reporting to the Head of PMO and Systems. The successful candidate would have a strong background in project administration.
Key responsibilities will include:
Ownership and coordination of all central PMO artefacts - PMO SharePoint site, project pipeline, resource tracker and holiday registers
Coordination and administrative oversight for monthly project governance forums including Steering Committees and Project Review Boards
Partner with FMG stakeholders and COG Technology to compile the annual FMG Technology budget
Work with COG Technology and FMG project managers to reconcile the FMG Technology budget (monthly) and individual project budgets, and respond to ad-hoc budget queries from FMG stakeholders
Partner with COG Technology improve the governance and process surrounding management of the FMG technology budget
Work closely with the Head of PMO and project managers to develop and refine the PM toolkit, consolidated reporting and communications plans
Work with the PMO team to ensure timely delivery and the high quality of all PM produced project artefacts
Manage global, cross functional relationships (including at the executive level) across the group
Key skills required for this role include:
Excellent spoken and written communications skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to engage and manage relationships with all levels of stakeholders across the organisation.
Effective communication with project stakeholders at Director Level including steering groups.
One to three years PMO or Administration experience with a structured and disciplined approach
Preference for experience with internationally distributed delivery teams
Ability to coordinate multiple assignments and work independently
Problem solving skills and a broad understanding of projects and technology
Outcome focused with a strong sense of accountability and relationship management behaviours
Prince2 or PMI qualifications are an advantage
CA/CPA qualifications are an advantage
