The department of mathematics and computer science is looking for qualified candidates to teach data-oriented non-calculus based applied introduction to statistics. This course covers basic descriptive and inferential statistics, including linear regression, confidence intervals for one mean and one proportion, and an introduction to significance testing.
Open sections for classes are MWF 10 AM to 1 PM and TTH 1 PM to 5:15 PM.
Individuals must have a Master's degree or PhD in a related field. Candidates with degrees in other fields with a strong record of the use of statistical analyses will also be considered. Preference will be given to candidates who possess a strong record of teaching.
