Le Moyne College, Nursing Department, is accepting applications for a part time Nurse Administrator. Responsibilities include teaching courses at the bachelor's and/or master's degree level, assisting with student advisements, attending departmental committee meetings, and serving as a representative of the department of Nursing within the college and the greater public and professional community. Current need is for instruction of the basic pathophysiology course at the undergraduate level. This includes development and updating of course materials, utilization of appropriate teaching methodologies, advisement and remediation measures related to the course, and grading of student progress. Program needs may vary by semester and course instruction may be changed to other content areas within the undergraduate and/or graduate level based on proficiency.
A master's degree in nursing is required and a doctoral degree in nursing or related field is preferred. Candidates should also have significant college-level teaching experience and/or extensive professional experience plus a demonstrable potential to become an effective teacher of undergraduate students.
