The AACSB accredited Madden School of Business at Le Moyne College invites qualified applicants to apply for a full-time, tenured or tenure-track Finance faculty position to begin in the fall of 2018.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Primarily teach undergraduate and MBA courses in investments and corporate finance; may occasionally teach a course in financial markets and/or institutions. The qualified candidate may be asked to teach some online courses. Reasonable service to the academic institution is also expected.
The Madden School of Business recently opened a state-of-the-art Finance Trading Center with Bloomberg terminals. The successful candidate is expected to embrace, utilize and incorporate this high-tech teaching environment into his/her teaching methodology. It is also anticipated that the successful candidate will take the lead to create The Dolphin Fund, a faculty-supervised, student-managed, investment portfolio, as well as any associated curriculum development needed to support this project.
QUALIFICATIONS: The qualified candidate must possess a completed Ph.D. in Finance from an AACSB-accredited institution or similarly recognized international program. The qualified candidate should also demonstrate an active record of productive scholarly activity in the field of finance.
