Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA) has been exclusively retained by Consumer Reports to conduct a search for a Corporate Counsel to be located at headquarters in Yonkers, New York. Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
Overview: The Corporate Counsel will be primarily responsible for structuring, negotiating and advising internal clients on a wide variety of commercial transactions including: master services agreements, purchasing agreements, information technology agreements, technology development, digital media licensing, software services, technical testing, non-disclosure agreements, independent contractor agreements, consulting and marketing agreements. He/she will also review and update policies, assist with employment matters, provide support on Board and governance matters along with providing strategic and practical advice to internal clients at all levels, including top level executives.

Experience: The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of legal experience leading and negotiating a wide variety of complex commercial transactions, including agreements with major digital companies, gained through a combination of major law firm and in-house settings.
