Saint David’s School seeks a Spanish teacher for a maternity leave replacement, Kindergarten through Grade Three.
The ideal candidate will: - Have experience teaching Spanish using a full immersion approach - Demonstrate a knowledge of Total Physical Response (TPR) techniques and engage multiple modalities so that students can retain information - Be available from September 5, 2017 through January 15, 2018 Successful applicants should possess the following qualifications: - Maturity, collegiality, flexibility, humor - Excellent speaking and writing skills - 3-5 years’ teaching experience - BA in Elementary Education or related field; (MA in Spanish, Foreign Language instruction or a related field preferred) - Native fluency in Spanish language
