And you'll do your life's best work.(sm) We are currently hiring Clinic Education Specialist positions which involve the following: Produce and present effective, engaging and innovative programs to support MSLA's national contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in developing exceptional Compensation and Pension (C&P) medical professionals (Physicians, Nurse Practitioners (NP), Physician Assistants (PA), Audiologists, Ophthalmologists and Psychologists). The positions will be based in either Tampa, FL or Cypress, CA locations. Primary Responsibilities:Applies a systems approach to planning, developing, presenting and evaluating innovative and creative learning strategies including but not limited to web-based tutorials, interactive PowerPoint presentations, audio and video vignettes Determines and develops performance improvement solutions, including training or other activities to ensure learning transfer occurs and performance gaps are met, including needs assessments and skills analysis Creates original synchronous and asynchronous learning solutions utilizing various technology tools Builds collaborative partnerships with peers, Compensation and Pension medical professionals, colleagues in other adult learning fields and with business associates at the VA
Required Qualifications:Associate's degree or higher in related field or equivalent work experience 2+ years developing & facilitating training experience required; i.e. classroom training, instructor led training (on location or virtual) peer to peer Proven professional experience in development and presentation of curriculum and/or training materials Knowledge of principles of adult learning and needs assessment techniques Experience with incorporating multiple media elements into learning programs including audio, video, and self-developed graphics Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex issues/tasks Coaches, provides feedback and serves as a resource to others Ability to travel up to 25% within the US Work on ad-hoc projects and events Position location can be based in Tampa, FL or in Cypress, CA onlyPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Adobe Captivate, Articulate Suite or equivalent online learning development tools Strong analytical skills Ability to produce quality results using rapid development models and tools Attention to detail, problem-solving and fact-based decision making abilities Strong time management, planning skills and working on multiple projects at a timeCareers with MSLA.
