Involves conducting on-going evaluations and assessments to ensure effectiveness of documentation implementing modifications as necessary. May work with SMEs to obtain content. May include design and development of materials. Employees in jobs labeled with SCA must support a government Service Contract Act (SCA) agreement.Primary Responsibilities: Engage / collaborate with appropriate stakeholders and SMEs to identify business needs, performance goals and gaps Demonstrate understanding of our business (organization structures, business strategies, goals and objectives, global businesses) Conduct task analysis / research to identify the specific knowledge, skills, behaviors needed to achieve desired performance levels (e.g., focus groups, observation) Identify and communicate appropriate solutions needed to address identified business issues and needs (e.g., training, coaching, policy changes, system changes, process / procedure changes, compliance issues, documentation issues, incentive issues, leadership issues, organization structure) Adhere to applicable internal and external communication standards established for the business (e.g., internal style guides, communication industry standards, company branding) Determine project goal / milestones based on identified business needs / timelines, and obtain appropriate approvals (e.g., go / no go decisions, check points) Obtain stakeholder and SME approval / sign-off of documentation materials (following review cycles) and make needed revisions based on stakeholder feedback Publish, test, and upload files to the appropriate locations (knowledge library, SharePoint) Respond to on-going feedback from trainers, and make appropriate adjustments to documentation deliverables Identify and incorporate needed changes to knowledge management solutions (e.g., processes, procedures, materials, techniques, curricula) based on measurement / evaluation results Identify opportunities to streamline, simplify and improve client experience
Required Qualifications: Undergraduate Degree (or higher) or High School Diploma / GED with 2+ years of equivalent work experience in procedural writing 3+ years of experience with documenting processes and practices, while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks, priorities, projects, and deadlines Technical knowledge of creating and editing documents in Microsoft Word Ability to travel up to 50% of the time between NY, AZ, and MN Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with Adobe Photoshop Prior experience with Content Management systems e.g., Microsoft SharePoint Prior experience creating, editing, and managing data, pivot tables, and formulas in Microsoft Excel Prior experience in large, multi-function and cross geographic organizationsCareerswith OptumInsight.
