Incumbent is the functional liaison between the Office of Human Resources and NUIT Technical Team charged with reviewing and investigating all development, production and/or system change requests to create the business case for a new HR development initiative. As a subject matter expert, researches and analyzes issues surrounding the effectiveness and efficiency of the Office's current processes and systems and makes recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency. Communicates changes and provides training to impacted business units.
Reviews and investigates all production, systems, and/or development requests so as to evaluate the need and create the business case for HR systems/change initiatives. Prepares and presents comprehensive project scope and definition documents that detail success factors, outcomes, budgets, and associated risks. Assists in the development and maintenance of non-technical project schedules, and ensures appropriate planning measures are taken including adjusting assignments as necessary to accommodate new issues, scope changes, new work estimates and/or resource availability constraints to ensure project success. Coordinates and maintains the non-technical project schedules.
Business Process Review and Improvement
As a subject matter expert works with end-users and process owners to assess current processes and procedures and makes recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency. Facilitates troubleshooting with the technical team to analyze and resolve production issues in a timely manner. Able to identify root causes based on prior system knowledge and advanced analytical skills.
User Acceptance / Application Performance
Applies scripts to test implemented software functionality. Facilitates iterative feedback events between users, developers, and analysts to ensure software functionality aligns with requirements. Works with the IT Technical Team to create a quality assurance process that ensures quality and continual improvement of the project deliverables. Escalates complex critical performance issues to management.
Implementation and Training
In collaboration with the process owners, develops the communications and training plan for key messages, project updates, and key decisions for each project to the impacted business unit. Reviews and verifies that documentation of training materials, processes, procedures and system/application configuration is accurate. Leads the non-technical systems roll out.

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired.
Five years of related experience.
Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of products, typing, grammar, and spelling, and punctuation, oral and written communications.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and tactful in dealing with people.
