Knowledge of the principles and methods used in the maintenance and operation of chilled water, refrigerant , HVAC and building air conditioning systems and their auxiliary components. ( compressors, pumps , coils, cooling towers, cold boxes, ice-machines, split systems, AHU’s, etc.). Experience installing, troubleshooting and repairing all components associated with chilled water, refrigerant, HVAC and building air conditioning systems. Experience operating and maintaining large centrifugal chillers and their associated auxiliary equipment. (Cooling Towers , Pumps, VFD’s,etc) Experience with maintaining and operating a chilled water distribution loop. Practical and theoretical knowledge in understanding and utilizing safe work practices and PPE as defined by OSHA and other governing entities. (What is LOTO, JSA, PRCS, PPE, etc.) Experience with interpreting and working from schematics, drawings, sketches and O&M manuals.
