As Program Manager, you will provide daily program management throughout the program life cycle to ensure consistent management of HUBzero programs. Identify, develop and nurture key partnering opportunities. Act as a key participant in the Science Gateways Community Institute's Incubator program. Assist in defining product vision and strategy working with excellent information technology professionals to execute. Define the program governance (controls). Plan the overall program and monitoring the progress. Manage risks and issues, taking corrective measurements when necessary. Coordinate the projects within the program and their interdependencies. Manage and utilize resources across projects. Promote IT services & evaluate opportunities for additional services. Manage program budgets by developing financial models to represent the financial requirements of programs & projects, assess financial impact of problems & potential solutions, and forecast growth and to monitor expenditures. Develop pro-forma financials for future projections and resource planning. Manage revenue recovery from HUBzero clients. Develop and manage stakeholders' communication. Assist in preparing proposals for research projects.
At least seven years of professional work experience in one or more of the following fields: information technology, business development, project management, or service management.
In lieu of degree, consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of related education and required work experience.
Leadership experience and professional growth demonstrated through advancement to positions requiring increasingly more responsibility.
Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques.
Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals including the ability to influence senior level management and key stakeholders.
Understanding of broad objective and knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedure.
