The Maryland Department of Health is seeking an Epidemiology Lead, Center for Cancer Prevention & Control, located in Baltimore, MD. This position provides epidemiological direction and guidance to the Director and Deputy Director of the Center. This position provides oversight and direct supervision of the Program Managers of the Maryland Cancer Registry and the Surveillance and Evaluation Unit within the Center for Cancer Prevention and Control. Requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 6 years of professional health or human service experience, including 2 years at the supervisory or management level. Candidates must also have proficiency in Statistical Analysis Software (SAS) with at least three years of demonstrated use. The successful applicant should have experience in workforce development, including recruitment, retention, progressive discipline, and career development support.
