Tenacious Solutions, LLC is seeking Contract Specialists to provide a client with Acquisition Support in the Washington, DC area.
Primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
Assist the Contracting Officer in conducting strategic requirements review, acquisition strategy development, Request for Proposal development, and in performing other related procurement tasks as required.
Assist the Contracting Officer in review of requirements documents submitted by the Program Office to determine adequacy and sufficiency and make recommendations to the Contracting Officer to accept or reject.
Assist the Contracting Officer in preparing solicitations, acquisition plans, source selection plans, and other documents required in accordance with regulatory and local guidance. Documents shall be accurate, current, and maintained up to date (for example, Acquisition Plan milestone schedule).
Support the Contracting Officer in assisting customers with the development and preparation of requirements documents (e.g., PWS, technical evaluation factors, performance plans, etc.).
Prepare modifications for various contractual actions to include, but not limited to, contracts, purchase/delivery/Orders, blanket purchase agreements, indefinite delivery contracts, as necessary.
Assist the Contracting Officer in preparing responses to Freedom of Information Requests and Protests actions.
Participate in meetings as required. During period review meetings, the Contracting Officer (CO) and/or Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) will address performance issues, if any, and appropriate actions to be taken. Attendance in the meetings shall be at no extra cost to the Government.
The ideal candidate will have:
U.S. citizenship and must be able to pass a background check
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related major
Proficiency in the use of standard office software and applications (MS Office, Acrobat, etc.)
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Strong analytical and statistical skills
Minimum 8 years of federal contracting experience
DAWIA (Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act) or FAC-C (Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting) level III certified
· Minimum 4 years of federal contracting experience
· DAWIA (Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act) or FAC-C (Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting) level II certified
· Minimum 2 years of federal contracting experience
· DAWIA (Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act) or FAC-C (Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting) level I certified
