Full Time position for a Contracts Manager. This position is “hands-on” with all aspects of daily contract administration at all levels (day-to-day, cradle-to-grave)
Responsibilities: This position is “hands-on” with all aspects of daily contract administration. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage and perform all aspects including:
Performing contract administration at all levels (day-to-day, cradle-to-grave).
Proposal support (RFP review, NDAs, TAs, Reps and Certs, Sub evaluations, etc.
Reviewing contractual documentation
Negotiating terms and conditions
Reviewing and managing NDAs and TAs
Financial tracking and status reporting
Maintaining contract compliance with company policy, FAR, DFARs, DCAA, etc.
Defining polices, processes, and procedures
Clearance Level: Secret Eligible
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in government contracting administration environment. Contracts Administrator experience in the transition from a small business to a large business preferred.
Experience and knowledge in proposing and administering all contract types of Federal Government Contracts, particularly with the Department of Defense. Some commercial experience a plus.
Knowledge of applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and related federal and state legislation and regulations.
Strong communication skills to include effective written, listening and interpersonal skills, approachability, and ability to build and maintain internal/external relationships.
Experience in prioritizing assignments along with the ability to multi-task and adjust accordingly to meet internal and external client needs. Able to work both independently, and in a highly interactive team environment, meet deadlines, and adjust to various workloads. Experience in the preparation, negotiation, review, and monitoring of contracts and agreements. Able to work well under pressure, multi-task, and deliver on multiple priorities with quality work.
Must have strong organizational skills, and be proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and have a strong eye for detail. Experience with documenting processes and performing process improvement is a plus.
Experience with JAMIS Accounting system would be desired.
