This position is responsible for the Women's Services line and provides direction, oversight, and leadership for a group of Navicent Health Physician Group practices, Medical Center, Navicent Health Hospitalist/Consult Programs and/or Medical Center, Navicent Health clinics. Responsibilities include strategic planning, practice and clinic business operations including revenue enhancement, expense management, patient and employee satisfaction, and oversight of hiring, onboarding, coaching, disciplinary action, termination, and evaluation of personnel in areas of responsibility. Ensures effective and efficient use of resources including facilities, staff, equipment, time, capital and inventory. Partners with various Navicent Health System leaders to encourage and enhance communication for efficient and effective operations. Interacts frequently with physicians and staff regarding the business and clinical operations of the practice and/or clinic. Partners with the co-chairs and committee members of the designated governance committees to ensure organization growth and success. Assumes responsibility for financial performance and compliance with system policies for assigned practices and/or clinics. Delegates appropriately and holds staff accountable. Performs duties with a sense of urgency and in alignment with the goals of the health system.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or healthcare related field required. Master degree strongly preferred.
Seven years of relevant experience in management of physician practice, hospital clinic, healthcare management office, or physician billing and reimbursement position required. Experience managing pediatric physician practices and/or have management experience in an ambulatory setting.
