Position will provide direct support to Program Manager for Commuter Vehicle Capital Acquisitions from the planning stage, to Solicitation Advertising, Pre-award Source Selection, Award, to Post Award management of agency capital commuter rail assets.
Candidate shall be responsible for a broad range of assignments in support of a major public commuter vehicle acquisitions and related project technical support services. Typical tasks include, but not are not limited to the following:
Compiling procurement planning documentation
Confirming proper level and type of funding for project
Drafting internal and external acquisition file memos
Conducting the function of a Procurement Contracting Officer
Conducting the function of the Admin Contracting Officer
Providing status reporting on a variety of tasks as required by the assigned Agency Program Manager
Conducting contracting life cycle pursuant to FTA-4220.1G and other applicable procurement laws and regulations.
Experience with Domestic and International procurement.
10 to 15 years total experience. Must have experience working in procurement for a large metropolitan transit agency, or have experience in aerospace capital asset procurement.
Experience with local, state and federal contracting processes.
Demonstrated ability to speak and write clearly and concisely
A known pro-active self-starter and project team contributor
Bachelor's degree in Business or related subject
Professional certification, CPCM or similar
Must be authorized to work in USA
