For more than 100 years, the Christopher House mission has been to strengthen and empower economically disadvantaged children and their families by providing a continuum of educational and human services.
In the fall of 2013, Christopher House built on its portfolio of early learning schools and expanded this transformative culture into a birth to eighth grade school. The school will create unprecedented collaboration between early childhood and elementary educators as well as family support programs. In addition, it will provide foundational exposure during the earliest years of life to our culture of high expectations and academic excellence.
Position Description: Associate Director Eligibility

Status: Non-Exempt Revised: 07/17
1.0 Position Objective: Ensure that Christopher House maximizes government revenue in relation to enrollment, eligibility, reporting and program requirements.
2.0 Supervises: Eligibility Coordinators at all sites
3.0 Relationships with: Leadership Team, Site Directors & School Age Managers, Associate Director of Social Services & Family Advocates, Finance team, program participants (children and families), local, State and Federal funding agency representatives.
4.0 Responsibilities: Develop, implement and monitor eligibility, enrollment, and attendance process in accordance with agency, local, state and federal regulations. Ensure program and fiscal practices meet contractual requirements.
4.1 Contract Compliance & Monitoring
Schedule and conduct announced and un-announced program audits at least quarterly to ensure compliance with eligibility and enrollment procedures for childcare, Head Start, Early Head Start, ERSEA, Pre-K and Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).
Revise monitoring tools as needed to ensure ongoing compliance. Ensure problems/issues found during program audits are addressed and resolved in a timely manner. Prepare reports of findings and communicate directly to program directors and staff.
Meet with eligibility coordinators, social service workers, site directors to provide orientation, training and support in implementing the different program options and requirements for Childcare, Head Start, Early Head Start, Pre-K and CACFP.
Develop and maintain plan to ensure maximum enrollment.
