Primary Responsibilities:Create benefit summaries to support optimal enrollment in UnitedHealthcare financial protection products Foster partnership with sales and account management to optimize Financial Protection benefit opportunities Create financial protection benefit summaries and rate sheets Translate information from sold UAFs (the contract) for specialty products including Basic Life, AD&D, Short Term Disability, Accident Protection, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, etc. to create the appropriate customized member facing summary using one of 24 configurable templates Comprehend contract details to determine specific nuances which are then translated to one of 24 templates Identify details of customization for each contract to create accurate final member financial materials Manage large amounts of detailed and complex data and provide accurate on-time enrollment information to the sales team Coordinates proposal development activities including drafting proposals for new and existing clients (e.g., employers, government), gathering related statistical and system-related reports, and directing the preparation of supporting documents and analysesWorks closely with sales, product, legal, pricing, and other functions to tailor contractual provisions to reflect prospect's needs, company interests, and appropriate resources and timelinesSupports initial contract admin and client service in clarifying requirements and ensuring fulfillment of obligations Analyzes and investigates Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED (or higher) Experience managing multiple priorities and / or projects and tight timelines by using appropriate methodologies and toolsAbility to generate processes which improve performance and productivity Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (or higher)Stop loss knowledge Knowledge of financial protection enrollment strategies and products Experience building relationships with sales team and brokers Experience with contracts, underwriting and specialty plan knowledge highly beneficial Soft Skills: Self-starter; able to work with minimal guidance; seeking guidance on only the most complex tasks Ability to manage detailed information and maintain high rate of accuracyCareers at UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual.
