Bellwether Consulting is an independent investment consulting firm focused exclusively on institutional investors, primarily sponsors of pension and other retirement plans. Services we provide include investment policy formation, asset allocation and asset-liability studies, investment manager selection, and performance monitoring. Our clients are typically a committee of senior executives (e.g., CFO, Treasurer, SVP of Human Resources) charged with the responsibility of running the sponsoring organization's employee retirement plan. The sponsoring organization may be a large corporation, non-profit, or government agency.
Our firm is organized as a professional practice with two levels: partners and staff. All of the members of the firm are dedicated to providing investment consulting.

We are seeking staff to:
Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of investments,
Prepare technical exhibits for clients,
Conduct research and report on specific client circumstance, investment options, general market condiditons, or industry issues,
Maintain client relationships, and
Provide general support (e.g., sales/marketing, etc.) for the practice.
Salary will be commensurate with experience with a starting range of $50,000 - $75,000 plus benefits and potential for annual bonus (i.e., total potential compensation starting at approximately $60,000 - $85,000).
We ask that applicants submit a resume and cover letter for consideration if they meet the following requirements:
Formal post-secondary education that included the completion of some business courses (e.g., economics, finance, accounting, etc.) with bachelor's degree attained.
At least 3 years of professional experience, with some financial services experience.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
Ability to interact professionally with personnel at investment management firms and our client contacts.
Ability to commit to at least 40 hours per week in the office.
Applicants selected as candidates for the position will be asked to provide a writing sample (on any topic) as part of the interview process.
A position in consulting requires the ability to work independently with little direction. The candidate should be articulate, outgoing, and innovative. Additional experience in project management, finance and investments, or other busienss disciplines is desirable.
