Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sr Audiologist.
In this role, the successful candidate The Senior Audiologist is responsible for providing full spectrum, diagnostic audiology testing to all patient referrals. The Senior Audiologist should also be responsible for dispensing and fitting for hearing aid devices.This position will spend time in both general audiology and the cochlear implant center. Exposure to cochlear implants preferred.

Ensure service excellence by becoming familiar with the seven principles of behavior and putting them into practice in carrying out job responsibilities.
Responsible for any other duties as stipulated by an Executive Leadership member of the Department, including but not limited to the Department Chairman or the Department Administrator.
Maintain professional demeanor at all times with physicians, co-workers and patients.
Work as a functionalmember of the CochlearImplant Audiology Teamand Department. Attendstaff meetings asrequested.Participate inappropriate conferencesand presentations.
Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
Provide staff audiologist, student and/or CFY supervision and mentoring.
Demonstrate ability to perform all duties of the Staff Audiologist independently and participate actively in clinical trials, when appropriate.
Complete and follow all department and medical center policies and requirements.
Perform other related audiology duties, as required.
Ensure patient follow-up for services, as needed.
Communicate all findings to referring physician or other professionals related to the care of the patient.
Evaluate, fit, and dispense amplification devises; provide counseling and training regarding use of such devices.
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Doctoral degree from an accredited college or university required. Three-five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. NY State Audiology License, required. NY State Hearing Aid Dispensing License, preferred. Experience working with Cochlear Implants is also preferred. Ability to meet deadlines. Strong organizational skills. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to work independently and takes initiative to assist in improving overall office operations. Strong interpersonal skills .Computer experience with Word, Excel, Power Point, and outlook e-mail
