The Global Recruiting Operations Manager plays a key role on the recruiting management team by supporting the Heads of Recruiting for each region, while reporting to the Global Head of Recruiting. The Global Recruiting Operations Manager has global responsibility over all aspects of recruiting operations in order to optimize the effectiveness of the department and drive consistent practices and effective change across the organization. This position is responsible for: analyzing information and recommending solutions, advising senior leaders on recruitment strategy, overseeing global project management and execution, evaluating, managing, and streamlining vendor relationships, building and standardizing global processes, and developing presentations for leadership.
Data and Metrics
Conduct data analysis and metrics to provide insight into recruiting performance
Ensure that meaningful analytics on recruiting performance are provided to the business, and exercised with judgment to be easily and consistently produced
Leverage analysis to make recommendations and drive change to the Recruiting department
Develop strategic presentations and reports to deliver updates to business leaders
Work with business heads to establish and deliver effective metrics and design weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports and other recruiting data reports
Lead audit recruitment procedures to ensure HR data accuracy and minimize organizational risk
Projects and Process Improvement
Partner with the in-house HRIS team and serve as the functional expert for all recruitment related technology including enhancements to existing systems and identifying, evaluating and implementing new technologies
Lead consistent implementation of new global recruiting processes and procedures, and raise issues and potential mitigations to the Global Head of Recruiting and the members of the management team
Manage global recruiting projects of various sizes and complexity; report progress against key milestones and ensure success
Enhance documentation of recruiting policies and processes to create efficient and effective hiring practices and compelling candidate experiences
Design templates for processes across the globe to ensure consistency and standardization
Draft global recruiting communications and presentations for Recruiting, business and HR leaders
Manage and ensure optimization usage for global vendors, and identify cost-savings across job boards, RPO, background check vendors, immigration, etc. and implement new technologies
Strategy and Leadership
Partner with leaders to understand areas of concern and implement strategies and changes
Advise management on future state organization structures and recommend employment shifts
Understand future state needs and develop strategies to meet business requirements and hiring goals
Gather intelligence, conduct research, and identify market trends for talent acquisition processes (i.e., improved efficiency and productivity) in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices
Undergraduate degree level education required
Ability to provide thought leadership using data and analysis in an analytical and metrics driven organization
Project management certification, advantageous
Self-starter and able to operate with minimal supervision given manager will be outside of New York
8+ years of broad, diversified analytical, project management and leadership experience
5 years management experience
Ability to partner with, influence and present to senior management
Lead projects and process improvements.
Resolve complex issues or challenges that do not have routine solutions
Lead and train junior staff
Key Skills Technical
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Advanced Excel skills, Microsoft Project and Visio a plus.
Working knowledge of PeopleSoft desired
Applicant Tracking Software, Kenexa, advantageous, along with other recruitment specialist systems
