In this role, the successful candidate The Solutions Development - Analyst I is an Entry level technical contributor applying technicalexpertise in one or more IT disciplines, under close supervision. This position serves as the CorporateSystems representative to support Corporate Systems automation. The Solutions Development Analyst I will serve as the functional and technical support the PeopleSoft Financials user community.It serves as the conduit between the customer community and the software development teamthrough which requirements flow. They will develop requirements specifications according to standardtemplates, using natural language. The individual in this position chooses from established proceduresto address work problems and may choose an approach or procedure for addressing a work task,under guidance.Also, this position is responsible for managing and maintaining the Omnicell and High Jump devicesfrom an on-going, daily operational perspective. This does not include re-stocking the cabinets withsupplies, which is the responsibility of Materials Management. The position does provide direction andguidance to Materials Management on how to optimize efficiency. The Assistant Manager works closelywith the clinical and SCM staff to ensure maximization of the benefits of the Omnicell and High Jumpdevices
Assist in project deliverables as required as well as defining and conducting system testsand system validation.
Lead High Jump handheld production support resolution as required.
Be the liaisonbetween thebusiness units,technology teamsand support teams.
Proactivelycommunicate andcollaborate withexternal andinternal customersto analyzeinformation needsand functionalrequirements anddeliver the followingartifacts as needed:(Functionalrequirements (BusinessRequirementsDocument), iii. UseCases, GUI, Screenand Interfacedesigns).
Critically evaluateinformationgathered frommultiple sources,reconcile conflicts,decompose highlevelinformationinto details, abstractup from low-levelinformation to ageneralunderstanding, anddistinguish userrequests from theunderlying trueneeds.
Proactive interaction with clinical and SCMstaff to identify best practices (may includeparticipation in Nursing Council Meetings). Suggests Best Practices learned from otherfacilities that may be beneficial to NYU.Workouts workflow with Omnicell OnsiteConsultant to support Omnicell as needed.Conducts periodic inspection of all cabinets.Maintains Inventory log for all Omnicell(Supply and Pharmacy). Log includesOmnicell ID, serial number and Omnicelllocation. Daily troubleshoots and cabinetrepairs as needed. Consults on restockingprocess and reviews for areas ofimprovement as needed. Coordinates entireinstallation process and phases as needed.
Periodic Inspection of all cabinets - Dailytroubleshoots and cabinet repairs asneeded. Support all Omnicell Products,including OptiFlex and AnesthesiaWorkstation, and any future installs as well.Consults on restocking process and reviewsfor areas of improvement as needed.
To qualify you must have a four (4) year Bachelor's Degree in information systems, computer science, or related field. Typically requires 0 to 1 years of relevant experience.Health care experience preferred.Some experience in PeopleSoft application support - systems design, testing, deployment and supportof PeopleSoft v9.x Financials applications (GL, AP, AM, PO, PC, GM, BI, RE, CC, IN, Workflow andePro).Some experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, qualityassurance and integration methodologies.Production support experience in PeopleSoft ERP Applications a plus
