Primary Responsibilities:Define Informatica workflow and mapping standards so development is consistent across all development resources (i.e., no hard coding, leverage of maplet, reuse concepts, etc.) Conduct ETL optimization, troubleshooting and debugging Design and develop test plans for ETL unit testing and integration testing Tune and optimize ETL jobs for performance and throughput. Interact with data modelers and data base administrator on data architecture optimization for ETL performance Provide development support, including walk through approvals, to other ETL application resources to insure that standards are followed and optimized workflow is implemented Document and maintain operational procedures in the form of an operations manual for all ETL workflow. Lead troubleshooting efforts for ETL job issues related to pre-production and production Leverage Informatica Data Quality as a mandatory process step for profiling data prior to downstream transformation Design and develop data validation processes using Informatica Data Quality. Design and develop exception and error handling through data governance so that data stewardship is leveraged to assist with anomalies
Required Qualifications:3+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter 1+ years of experience with Master Data Management (MDM) concepts using any MDM tool 1+ year experience with Informatica Data Quality 1+ year experience with Informatica MDM 1+ year experience with Informatica Test Data Manager 1+ year experience of regulatory security requirements regarding HIPAA and other regulatory security requirements 1+ Experience with leading other ETL DevelopersPreferred Qualifications:Data Experience across Medicaid, Medicare, Exchange and commercial payer environments Teradata experience Experience with dealing with 837 transactions Experience with Informatica Meta Manager Knowledge of data modeling and ErwinCareers with Optum.
