Join us and start doing your life's best work.Primary Responsibilities:Researching errors by comparing enrollment error reports against system information along with CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services) recordsSending correspondence to members or CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services) to gather information or provide updates for correctionsReconciling reportsPerforming basic clerical functions with proficient PC skillsAnalytical and Researching techniques to trend or quantify projectsInitiate and assist with developments / changes to increase or change quality and productivityPreparing, processing, and maintaining new member or group enrollmentsResponding to member eligibility or group questions & verify enrollment statusWorking with various types of member correspondenceReconciling eligibility discrepancies, analyzing transactional data & submitting retroactive eligibility changesInventory control of member and group transactionsAssisting member with documentation which involves traveling to member's homes / Nursing homeWill be working onsite at the NY City office 3 days a week and traveling to member's homes / nursing homes 2 days a weekModerate work experience within own functionSome work is completed without established proceduresBasic tasks are completed without review by othersSupervision / guidance is required for higher level tasks
Requirements:High School Diploma / GED1+ years of experience in an office setting environment using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job dutiesAvailable to work 40 hours per week within the operating hoursStrong computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and strong mouse and keyboarding skillsAbility to edit, input data and create spreadsheets on Microsoft ExcelExperience in any Healthcare / Managed Care environment Assets:Bilingual in RussianExperience with Medicaid / Managed care (HRA, any local services or Maximus)Soft Skills:Willing to work face to face with a wide range of membersPhysical Requirements and Work Environment:Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands / fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, long periods working at a computerService center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, computers, printers, and floor activityCareers at UnitedHealthcare Community & State.
