The Senior Digital Specialist III is responsible for enhancing the communications and image of CHRISTUS Health with various internal and external publics by assisting the System Director of Digital Engagement and Manager of Digital Experience in implementing the strategic digital experience plans for the system. Specifically, the Senior Digital Specialist will serve as the web developer for CHRISTUS Health. Travel requirements: maybe up to 20% of job, as needed.
The will be in a position to interface daily with various publics and constituents, including senior leadership at the system and regional level, board members, Communications Council, Information Management, news media representatives, community and political leaders and the general public. The Senior Digital Specialist will provide daily supervision and guidance for members of the Communications Council and leadership as need for web-related projects and content management. The Senior Digital Specialist will be privy to and responsible for confidential corporate information, including strategic plans, financial information, risk management situations and patient information.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding and demonstrated expertise in web content, usability, architecture, development and design.
Implementing new processes, procedures, technology and tools in order to improve productivity, product quality and performance.
Programming HTML e-blast templates
Evaluating new technologies and software products to determine feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities within the company's products.
Working with end users to understand business requirements and in identifying new data needs and delivery mechanisms.
A key responsibility of the Senior Digital Specialist is to participate in the development and enforcement of Website governance and best practices.
