The People Consultant & Change Specialist will implement the Center of Excellence's (COE's) COE Organization Design (OD) operating model, framework, and tools to support strategic change and transformation needs.
Reporting to the Director, People Consulting Team, this role is a terrific opportunity to directly influence and impact the organization at the world's largest chemical company by transforming organizations to ensure high performing teams.
This position will be part of the People Consulting Group; a demand based HR consultant group. Responsibilities include the implementation the OD COE's framework and toolkits by leveraging the Business Unit's (BU's) regional strategies/initiatives. This organization will serve as the subject matter experts on organizational design, capability development, and growing that skillset within the BU clientele.
Formula for Success: You Will...
Partner with Strategic Human Resource Business Advisors (SHRBAs) to build organizational capability and change brand equity by communicating and implementing the OD COE framework vision/mission, content, value, approach, and processes to relevant BU stakeholders.
Diagnose business initiatives to determine the appropriate approach and organization capability and change solutions needed to meet short- and long-term business goals related to the strategy.
Partner on execution of organizational development and change solutions (e.g., assessment, design, delivery, or execution).
Execute project plans, preparation of sessions/initiatives, keeper of curriculum, tools, and content.
Support team members while they serve as internal consultants for business leaders and Strategic Business Advisors.
Lead and manage cross-functional project teams/task forces in response to business needs and global/regional initiatives.
Ensure effective and efficient execution through disciplined project management while ensuring a strong alignment to business needs
Maintain feedback loop with OD COE to develop/maintain Change Leadership engagement sessions and materials based on Change Framework.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You...
Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources or a related field with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the HR OD, change, or learning space; in lieu of a degree, at least 12 years of experience in the HR OD, change, or learning space.
Strong analytical and project management skills.
Highly organized with ability to make sound decisions while managing multiple priorities.
Comprehensive knowledge of organizational design, transformation and change, team development, leadership development, talent management, and instructional design.
Business and leadership acumen combined with capacity to influence and manage organizational change; ability to work with all levels of management, along with interfacing with COEs, SHRBAs, and BU clients.
Willingness to work with all levels within the organization as well as demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and initiative.
Demonstrated influencing, advanced facilitation, and coaching expertise.
Excellent executive presence combined with ability to cultivate professional relationships and influence at all levels of the organization, both regionally and globally.
Ability to travel to assigned sites on a regular basis.
People Consultant work locations are flexible, but must be located within a reasonable driving distance to a major airport. People Consultants may choose to work from a virtual home office, or they may choose to work from one of BASF's HR work locations.
