The University, offers 38 undergraduate degrees, 24 graduate degree, 2 associate degrees and 7 doctoral degrees which all employees can obtain free of charge; founded in 1912 after its organization in 1909 as the Agricultural and Industrial State Normal School.
The successful candidate should have completed a HVAC technical course or equivalent from an accredited school. Possess the following knowledge and ability:
1. Knowledge of refrigeration theory and computation of heating and cooling loads and capacities. 2. Ability to use hand tools and testing and measuring devices such wet and dry bulb thermometers, manometers, anemometers, velometers, drafts gauges, soldering irons, hand torches, leak detectors, and multi-meters. 3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, charts, and technical instructions. 4. Ability to accurately maintain equipment inventory and history records. 5. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects. 6. Ability to work in confined spaces and work from ladders. 7. Other duties as assigned.
