Manages the annual stewardship process for DRCLAS of up to 100 donors and grants, including
Maintaining financial and historical data to be used in various reports
Participating in drafting and sending donor reports
Maintaining robust and up-to-date donor files
Tracking gift payments in collaboration with the Associate Directory of Strategy and Development and the Associate Director of Finance
Maintaining gift acknowledgment process
Collaborating with the Associate Director of Strategy and Development in the design and implementation of stewardship and donor engagement activities
Collaborating with the Associate Director of Strategy and Development on the programming of itineraries for high profile individuals visiting from Latin America
Supports the Associate Director of Strategy and Development in cultivation and proposal efforts including
Conducting background research and prepare reports on prospective partners using public and private data sources
Participating in proposal process
Manages all aspects of a multi-day Annual Meeting of Advisory Committee including planning and execution of business meetings, conferences, small and large gala events for up to 150 people from various countries. Activities include
Developing the invitation list in collaboration with senior staff (Cambridge and overseas)
Drafting, producing and sending out invitations in a timely manner
Working with the Events Coordinator on logistics for Advisory Committee events including contracting with media services, photographers, transportation services and all outside vendors
Working with the senior staff to manage the recruitment of faculty presenters from Harvard University as well as academics, politicians, government ministers and practitioners from other institutions
Drafting and editing pre and post-event correspondence for Advisory Committee members and special guests, supporting participants with travel arrangements and expense reimbursements, along with any necessary follow-up
Provides administrative support to the Associate Director of Strategy and Development such as drafting briefings and correspondence, handling expenses, scheduling group meetings and other similar duties.

Minimum of three years working in development and/or alumni affairs or demonstrated understanding of the development function.
BA/BS strongly preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Excellent written and oral communication skills in Spanish
Knowledge of and interest in Latin America
Advanced knowledge of databases, especially Advance
Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion
Ability to work creatively, both independently and as part of a team to plan and carry out events and projects
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and experience working with data bases.
