The Admissions Representative, International will be responsible for the recruitment of qualified international students for Northwood University’s Midland, MI residential campus. The primary responsibilities will be to manage a portfolio/pipeline of prospective international students in an effort to achieve the enrollment goal as mutually established by the Admissions Representative, Dean of International Programs and Vice President of Enrollment Management; participate in discussions and recruitment initiatives with international partner institutions by visiting their campus location(s) and attending recruitment fairs at the direction of the Dean of International Programs and Vice President of Enrollment Management and utilizing the university approved recruiting tools including social media, email, CRM, etc., when working with international prospective students and parents.
We expect the Admissions Representative, International to:
Achieve agreed upon new student international yearly enrollment objectives
Ability to travel internationally
Conduct activities consistent with mission and core values of the university
Understand international admission processes and propose positive improvement
Have familiarity of target country’s educational system determined by the university’s strategic initiatives and have strong business and/or school network in those countries

Possess a Bachelor Degree (preferably in Business, International, Marketing or other related programs)
Excellent verbal, written communication and technical skills
Track record of successful institutional relationship building and contract partnerships
Understand international marketing
At least 4 years’ experience in International Enrollment for higher education
Possess a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and a valid US passport
Demonstrated experience working in teams, and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
Have the ability to conduct international travel and work evenings and weekends
Work with culturally diverse populations
Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
US citizen or resident alien of US who lived in region of our target countries or speaks local languages
Midland based office
Prolonged sitting and standing
Evening and weekend work required
Travel required (40-50% of time)
