This is an initial 6 month contract based in London
Global Risk and Global Finance have established a shared Data Management Utility (DMU). The DMU operates standardised processes to improve the governance and quality of data required for both reporting and analytics. The DMU is underpinned by data and systems architecture that will be aligned wherever practical
The Data Quality Monitoring Lead will report into the Head of Data Quality Monitoring. The role-holder will support the effective implementation of data quality monitoring including:
Risk & Finance sub-function engagement liaison to onboard onto the data quality monitoring process
Implementing data quality rules and measuring and monitoring data quality
Reporting of data quality metrics on the Data Quality Monitoring dashboard
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Knowledge of data uses and flows within a large diversified global bank.
Knowledge of best practices in data quality monitoring and data quality metrics
Knowledge of data quality metrics reporting and dashboard design
Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements of a large diversified global bank
Knowledge of Risk and Finance function in a large diversified global bank
Experience in having supported solving complex issues in a complex organization
Experience of supporting analytics assignments
Experience in operating in high pressured environments with demanding deliverables in tight timescales.
Experiences with dealing with multiple stakeholders.
Subject matter knowledge on data-related issues and solutions
Data analysis, SQL knowledge will be an advantage
Use and design of Qlikview and other dashboard tools
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong interpersonal skills and influencing skills with ability to build and maintain relationships
Ability to build connections and work collaboratively across boundaries.
