As a Product Consultant, you will develop the Medicare strategy and vision for product roadmaps, establish collaborative relationships with external and internal stakeholders, gather accurate requirements and evaluate product performance for enhancements. You will strategically and creatively think about how the consumer experience should work translating a vision to processes and requirements that impact lives and helps health the health care system. Primary Responsibilities: Identify Medicare growth opportunities Lead and coordinate Medicare service area expansion and new market entry; Medicare Advantage applications and submissions Analyze market trends and develop strategies to address market requirements Support the development of market and sales strategies and value proposition Coordinate annual benefit planning process Forecast revenue or savings opportunities associated with product development initiatives Gather and analyze data from internal and external sources Manage cross - segment projects and initiatives that require problem solving, relationship building, influencing and analyzing Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges. Influence innovation across teams to ensure aligned; cohesive progress across multiple areas including technology, marketing, and service operations Interpret complex concepts and regulatory guidance from CMS Navigate and influence multiple cross-functional teams in a complex, matrix work environment
Required Qualifications: Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience 4+ years of Product Management/ Product development experience Proficiency with MS Office applications (min. of 3 years exp) Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a matrix environment Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence others Effectively communicate at all levels of the organization Medicare and/or Medicaid program knowledge Healthcare experience Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Degree Project management experienceCareers at UnitedHealthcare Community & State.
