The Trade Application Support Analyst will be responsible for tier 2 support of all Trading front office systems and the Trade Clearing process. The individual will be responsible for Trading platforms in administration of front-end, middle-tier, reporting tier and databases within a fast paced Asset Management environment. This position interacts with Database Administrators, Developers, other Business Analysts, Project managers, the Compliance department, Portfolio Managers, Traders and Trade Operations on a daily basis for optimizing the applications throughout the Trading lifecycle in the global markets. He / She will set system parameters within the Trading environment for our Order Management System, Charles River Development CRIMS (CRD). He / She will set system parameters within the Trading environment for our Execution Management System, InfoReach. The position requires coordination with vendors to enhance their products for Mellon Capital Management (MCM). The Trading Support Analyst must have an understanding the business process of MCM to enhance the product to fit MCM's business model. The position can be part of the project teams (Trading, Portfolio Management and Compliance) as needed. This position includes training of application support staff, updating application support guides. Our front office is mission critical and supports approximately $360 Billion USD in client funds. Qualifications The candidate will have a proven track record delivering complex solutions on time and in scope, and is self-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills are a must. The position requires that the candidate has good communication skills in order to effectively communicate with Business Analysts and end users to understand complex business operations and needs. Prefer B.S. or B.A. in related field. 2-5 years of industry experience.
