Responsible for reviewing the Bank’s more complex commercial and industrial loans to assess credit risk in the Bank’s portfolios.
Responsible for adherence to all compliance programs including but not limited to, completion of all required and assigned training modules by established due dates.
Understands and complies with requirements of all laws and regulations applicable to position.
Responsible for the review of the company’s complex commercial and industrial loans to assess credit risk, determine appropriate risk classification, impairment treatment in accordance with internal policy and regulatory requirements.
Review complex loan files and analyze borrowers’/guarantors’ financial information to evaluate capacity to repay the debt.
Review, as appropriate, appraisals, rent rolls and operating statements of underlying collateral to assess risk and, if appropriate, impairment.
Discuss classification and impairment recommendations with Credit Administration and Business Unit personnel, as necessary.
Evaluate underwriting and credit administration practices and make appropriate recommendations.
Evaluate if loans are made within the bank’s policy and in compliance with governing laws and regulations.
Evaluate portfolio management processes and identify any documentation and process deficiencies.
Prepare detailed reports addressing findings and recommendations; summarize credit risk profile trends and conclusions.
Contribute to the efforts in the re-estimation and impairment quarterly processes.
As needed, lead the efforts on loan/bank acquisition due diligence activities through the expedited evaluation of loans and assessment of loan portfolio quality.
Lead the efforts in the preparation for independent audits and regulatory examinations.
Lead the efforts in the preparation of credit risk reports and selection of review scope.
Perform supervisory and oversight activities as needed and as assigned by Credit Review management.

Education and/or Experience: College Degree plus 10 years of relevant commercial loan review or credit analyst experience. Must be highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects at one time. Computer literate; fluency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel. Excellent oral and written communication skills and analytical skills.
