Directs the Animal Welfare Program to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations, laws, policies, accreditation agency standards and guidelines for the ethical care and use of animals. Lead all administrative, management, technical and operational functions of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), staff and committee within the program. Provides independent, support to the IACUC Chair, Animal Welfare staff and members of the committee as well as principal investigators, veterinary staff and their research staff. Serve as the senior administrator and supervisor for the Animal Welfare Program staff, including budgetary responsibility.
Required Qualifications Positions require a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and four (5) years of progressively responsible relevant experience, which has included at least one (3) year of managerial experience.
