GRANTS COORDINATOR, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL), to join the headquarters' team of a large, interdisciplinary lab with a diverse sponsor base and annual activities exceeding $70M and more than 150 federal and industrial sponsor proposal submissions per year. Will comprehensive pre- (80%) and post-award (20%) financial research management of CSAIL's sponsored activities; coordinate the preparation, review, and submission of government, industrial, foundation, and other organizational proposals; and ensure compliance with agency program announcement requirements and MIT's policies and procedures.
REQUIRED: a bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years' experience in accounting or finance. Related experience with federal contracts and/or financial administration experience in an academic research environment, particularly with research proposal processing and pre-award administration, is preferred. Must be highly proficient in the use of Excel and be familiar with other Office products.
