The role of Trade Data Quality (TDQ) Governance Manager sits within the new TDQ function within GM Middle Office and reports directly into the Global Head of TDQ. The GM Middle Office sits within GM Operations. It is a globally aligned, cross asset operational structure positioned equidistant from the Front Office, Operations, Finance and Risk. The TDQ & Reporting component of the GM Middle Office, consists of 2 elements: the Trade Data Quality Control function and the Trade and Transaction Reporting Control function (T&TR)
The TDQ Governance Project Manager will provide a pivotal role in engaging with stakeholders to drive forward the successful design and implementation of the TDQ Governance function, as well as ensure optimised and standardised processes are followed as well as provide a gateway for the book of work for TDQ to enable the successful implementation of the TDQ & Reporting component within GM Middle Office.
The purpose of the TDQ function is, as Control Owners of trade data quality, to execute controls and processes to facilitate the delivery of complete, accurate, timely and consistent trade data from the trading platforms through to the downstream consumer, with particular focus upon regulatory, risk and financial reporting. The purpose of the T&TR function is to ensure accurate and consistent regulatory reporting globally.
Day to day leadership and direction across stakeholders to drive forward the successful design and implementation of the TDQ function.
Independent controller of what the data should look like, including driving out a GM data dictionary, standardised data lineage and ensuring the consumption of golden source data as the preferred consumer option
Gateway process to prioritise and bring client quality assurance controls on board
Must be capable of navigating a large, complex organisation and working cross asset classes and have a proven ability within a technology and data heavy front-to-back environment.
Background in Investment Banking and Markets, with extensive knowledge of business control processes, effective management of the change life-cycle and experience of dealing with regulatory reporting requirements.
An individual with a strategic approach who can work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to drive through significant change in aggressive timelines.
Experience of Trade Data and/or associated Operational Controls.
Experience in driving complex and large change initiatives through to delivery.
