Working closely with the Executive Director, Faculty Affairs and Professional Development (FAPD), responsible for developing, overseeing, administering the policies and procedures associated with employment for faculty, academic support staff and Penn Medicine Clinicians in the Perelman School of Medicine (PSOM). These include, but are not limited to, issues associated with recruitment, appointment, promotion, tenure, leaves of absence, termination, misconduct and governance process. Advises senior administration, faculty and staff concerning faculty policy issues. Partners with Penn Medicine Academic Computing Services (PMACS) in planning and coordinating activities, from system design through implementation.
