The Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments (PPACG) Board of Directors is seeking a results-oriented leader to serve the board in achieving its vision for the future.
PPACG is a voluntary organization of local governments serving the Pikes Peak region’s cities, towns, and counties. PPACG headquarters is located in the City of Colorado Springs. See brochure at www.mercergroupinc.com
The Executive Director of the PPACG is appointed by and reports to the PPACG Board of Directors. The Executive Director is the top-level staff position for PPACG, operating under the direction of the Board of Directors consisting of elected and appointed officials representing area member governments.
The Executive Director is an “at will” position and serves at the pleasure of the PPACG Board of Directors.
The Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments (PPACG) consists of 16 local governments in the Pikes Peak Region of Colorado which join together to collaborate on issues that cross political boundaries and reach solutions that benefit the entire region. PPACG’s primary focus is regional planning in transportation, aging issues, military impact planning, and air and water quality.

Education and Professional Development:
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Public or Business Administration, Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering or a related field required.
• Related Master’s degree preferred.
• Evidence of continued professional development such as completion of an executive development program, a program in certified public management, or continuing professional and technical education.
