Provides customers, employees and end users with product and technical support and directs and coordinates research and development activities for organizational products, services, or ideologies by performing the following duties personally or through coordination with others.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring projects such as preparation of records of expenditures and research findings, progress reports, and staff conferences, in order to inform management of current status of each project.
Negotiates contract with consulting firms to perform research studies.
Provides technical support and training to sales group, employees and customers.
Attends and participates at trade shows, conventions, seminars and other industry meetings and conferences.
Formulates products to customer needs and market demands.
Develops and reviews printed materials and works closely with sales staff on product development and evaluation.
Responds to customer inquiries on phone or by mail.
Plans and schedules levels of support according to project release schedules.
Assist in final testing of new products.
Interprets quality assurance philosophy to key personnel in organization.
Coordinates R&D and local product development.
Qualify and perform as Internal Food Safety Auditor as needed.
Responsible for feed safety in the day to day activities of job.
Feed Safety Management Team member.
Responsible for meeting the requirements of EW Nutrition’s customers, applicable feed legislation and EW Nutrition’s Feed Safety Management System.
Responsible for identifying feed safety issues and notifying the proper personnel in the organization to take corrective action.
Responsible to help implement and follow all feed safety improvements and corrective actions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Doctorates (Ph.D. or D.V.M.) with emphasis in Poultry Nutrition/Gut Health; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Employees will be trained for this job by qualified EW Nutrition USA personnel. The proper training form per job function will be reviewed and properly filled out, signed and dated upon completion of each training area. This training will be reviewed periodically for effectiveness and competence. This review will take place during the annual employee performance review.
Ability to read, analyzes, and interpret the most complex documents; scientific studies, and government regulations. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquires or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on complex topics to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors.
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software; Word Processing, Publishing/Presentation software and E-mail software.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be knowledgeable in animal nutrition and animal husbandry
Must be knowledgeable with forages, silage and cereal grains feed ingredients and complete feeds.
Must possess good oral and written communication.
Team oriented with strong customer service skills.
