Description: The Fundraising Manager will be responsible for the coordination and execution of the organization's Foundation, Government and Annual Fund fundraising efforts. This includes, but, is not limited to: • Current Foundation and Government fundraising: creating and submitting grant packages and grants management including all reporting, correspondence and acknowledgement letters. The current work load ranges between 17-25 Foundation grants and 6-9 Government grants per year, • Identifying potential new foundation and government grant opportunities and creating and implementing a process to approach these potential funders, • Managing the two Annual Fund campaigns that the organization conducts each year, • Maintaining a grants calendar, grants management tools and all grant related addendum materials, • Coordination and execution of the related funding acknowledgement correspondence to individuals, elected officials and funders, • Maintaining the records for DANCECleveland with Data Arts (Ohio Cultural Data Base) and the organization's data base-GiftWorks. This position is deadline driven so the ebb and flow of work will vary throughout the year with the heaviest grant request period being between February and April with the heaviest grant reporting period between August and October.

Qualifications: The desired candidate will be collaborative, highly organized, results-oriented and possess a systematic approach to reaching goals. Superior writing and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to proficiently use technology resources to acquire, manage, and analyze information.
We require that candidates have a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of four years of experience in the grant writing and fund acquisition/development field.

• Offering a wide range of creative educational programming.
