Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Student Intern.
In this role, the successful candidate This person for the Radiology Finance Unit will work for the summer from June 12 August 31st. The intern will assist the Finance unit with various projects; to help the staff with T&E reimbursement requests, data entry, scanning and filing documents, and preparing a reconciliation of the telephone charges. Below is a list of some of the tasks.
Help out with the year-end T&E processing. This includes checking receipts, tally expenses, and verify that the submitted documents are correct. Scan expense reimbursements for the AP staff to submit for payment. The intern will be expected to help with these task through the end of August as the T&E submission workload increases during the last few months of the fiscal year.
Reconcile the telephone charges and identify inactive phone lines that can be shut off.
Data Entry - help with entering invoices and T&Es submitted for payment into the Transactions database so that we can keep track of what payments have been processed. Currently we are a few weeks behind and would like to be up to date with these entries.
Scan and file documents the department has a lot of documents and need to be scanned and or filed away. The intern will help to create a filing system that is organized and easy to follow.
Minimum Qualifications: Student intern must be a full-time student, or if working in the Summer months (Mid-May through Mid-Sept), must be planning to return to full-time status in the Fall. During the summer months, the position must be classified as Casual. Functions performed must be NBU (non-bargaining-unit) work.
Preferred Qualifications: college student
