This HCE Consultant will research and investigate key business problems through quantitative analyses of utilization and healthcare costs data. He/she will extract, analyze and interpret healthcare data to uncover trends and assist in managing & understanding the market level medical cost trends. The HCE Consultant assists in development and presentation of statistical findings and conclusions. The position provides data in support of identifying potential areas for medical cost improvements and alternative pricing strategies. This position will work independently, and as part of a team, to conduct analyses used to create viable, real - world solutions in a complex health care landscape. Primary Responsibilities:Design and develop data queries Analyze reports to measure utilization, cost data, clinical outcomes, network performance and assist in development of management presentations Work with very large data sets and see projects from conceptualization to completion by contributing to database creation, statistical modeling and financial reports Interpret and analyze clinical data from various sources and recommend best approaches for aggregation
