As part of a team, manages day to day processes to support the data enablement and infrastructure of national Program by integrating operational data feeds with clinic tools. Prepares monthly extracts from registries and platforms to identify trends in operational processes at a state, region and regional level. Prepares population analyses and data views for program action. Supports implementation of program in new markets, including tracking program attribution for Health Homes. Reports to the Manager Clinical Program Operations, in Clinical Transformation business unit. Primary Responsibilities: Provide analytical support and expertise when compiling and reporting information Evaluate, interpret and analyze data and / or business process Develop and present recommendations and alternatives for management and executive review May recommend, implement, document, evaluate and / or maintain policies, procedures and controls Provide and / or interpret information and data across divisions and departments Assume responsibility for data integrity among internal groups and / or between internal and external sources Assist in developing department action plans including identification of objectives, goals and strategies Develop and implement effective analysis, research and evaluation of accountable care program metrics Develop, analyze and monitor new, routine and ad hoc reports using multiple data sources and systems Support Analytic needs of Medicaid Clinical Transformation / Accountable Care Communities Maintain databases of hospital ADTs Maintain processes for risk stratification of practice populations SME for national Population Registry, supporting demo and interfacing with Solutions Support DBA Participation on HIE implementation teams Work with Business Intelligence to support additional reporting where necessary Maintain analyses related to scorecards at the community level, hospital level and practice level Extract monthly Population Registry, UHC Transitions, Community Care data at the entity level Add required fields for outreach and analyses Analyze rates to identify patterns and priorities to address in outreach Manage operational databases as needed Analyze trends in outcomes as needed
Required Qualifications:BA / BS in Business or related area, or equivalent experience 1+ years of experience in the healthcare field 1+ years of SQL coding experience 2+ years of experience collecting, analyzing and presenting data and recommendations to management Ability to travel 50%, via car, within the state of MissouriPreferred Qualifications:Advanced knowledge and experience using PC software including automated database management systems Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of relational databases, database structures - Access Advanced Excel skills Demonstrated critical thinking and decision making skills Excellent oral / written communication skills and presentation skills Math / accounting financial analysis experience Experience in Managed Care or clinical operationsCareers with UnitedHealthcare.
