Advices and makes recommendations to the Secretary for the Department of Human Services on all strategic activities affecting all programs administered by the department through the Family Investment, Social Services, and Child Support Administrations. Monitors the goals, outcomes and perfromance measures for the 24 Local Departments of Social Services that administer DHS programs. Formulates and implemetns DHS policies, goals and priorities in collaboration with the DHS Secretary, Deputy Secretary for Operations, Deputy Secretary of Strategy & Administration, Chief of Staff, Executituve Directors, and directors of the Local Offices of Social Services. Represents the Department on external Commissions, Advisory Councils and Interagency Committees.
Applicants must have a Master's Degree in Social Work or related field and at least eight years of executive level experience in the administration of human service programs. with emphasis on Child Welfare. Resumes must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2017
