Wilmington and Beaches CVB is seeking an experienced hospitality sales professional for the position of Sales Manager in Wilmington, NC. This position would be responsible for producing business in the Corporate, Government, Religious and Social market segments. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of CVB, hotel or hospitality sales experience that includes soliciting new business and servicing existing accounts in the Meetings & Convention market. This is a full-time, salaried position based in Wilmington, NC.
The candidate will need to be self-motivated and able to follow sales goals and booking guidelines. A minimum standard of goals (phone calls, sales calls, site visits, leads, bookings, etc.) must be met to help the candidate generate and distribute leads to hotels and meeting facilities.

Identifying and qualifying potential clients.
Travel to key tradeshows, marketplaces and industry events.
Soliciting clients to bring business to our hotels and venues. Phone calls, emails, tradeshows, FAM trips, travel and in person sales calls are all required.
Partnering with hoteliers and industry partners in all stages of the sales process.
Knowledge of Simpleview and Microsoft Office as well as the hospitality and meetings industry and related terminologies is a plus.
