The Coordinator is committed to providing the best experience for the myriad high-profile executives, government officials, customers, etc. in house and hosted by the National Growth Office, External Affairs and UHG Corporate executives. Daily duties of this hospitality and administrative role include internal/external customer interaction, ensuring all guests' needs are met, oversight of the days' events, and supporting the broader team as needed. This position requires a personable professional with the highest level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast paced environment with a can-do attitude. Watch this video to learn more about Optum Careers Primary Responsibilities: Manage front desk, including answering phone calls, fielding requests, and general inquiries Account for amenities within facility (including giveaways, café/bar beverages, paper stock) Support the coordinated logistics involved in all aspects of events/presentations/sales demonstrations, etc., including: - Maintaining calendars for the space - Preparing for guests arrival with name badges, name tents, printed materials - Arranging the appropriate signage with text and customer logos, as needed - Coordinating collateral specific to a briefing/tour - Overseeing catering and audio/visual requirements - Assisting presenters arriving for a client visit This person needs the following skills: A proactive, self-starter who contributes to building a positive team environment Polished, personable, professional presence with an understanding of how to effectively host customers, c-suite executives, government officials, etc Fostering relationships with vendors and facilities management Commitment to maintaining high level of standards and providing the best customer service
