Coordinated Health’s Vice President of Primary Care, Providers and Products is responsible for the performance and profitability of our Primary Care providers and product lines. The Vice President serves as strategic operational lead for Primary Care, Walk-in and Urgent Care, Gynecology, and ER providers and products. The Vice President of Primary Care will be directly responsible for division and market clinical operational excellence and execution of new paradigms in our primary care model, such as mobile and population health care initiatives.
The Vice President provides senior leadership of care providers and products in our primary care product lines. This position is accountable for the recruitment and management of primary care providers as well as growth of the primary care product lines. The Vice President is accountable for the processes and clinical integration needed to ensure an effective, efficient and reliably produced patient and physician experience. The Vice President of Primary Care will collaborate and partner closely with Care Delivery teams and Company leadership across functional areas (e.g. finance, analytics, revenue cycle) to drive impact.
Coordinated Health has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned healthcare leader to provide strategic direction and oversight of Primary Care providers and products. The Vice President of Primary Care actively identifies and leads, along with the Care Delivery, key opportunities that lead to growth, revenue generation and product integration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Sets the vision for best-in-class clinical care providers and products in Primary Care, Walk-in and Urgent Care, Gynecology, and ER across markets and drives operational excellence to achieve it
Strengthens and defines the core provider model that is scalable across locations/markets
Directly manages Primary Care, Walk-in and Urgent Care, Gynecology, and ER clinical providers in defining, implementing, and monitoring key performance and quality metrics that constitute impact and success
In conjunction with Financial Integration and Revenue Cycle teams, drive health plan partner collaboration across core operational areas (network, case management, utilization management)
Work closely with Clinical Integration, Specialty & Primary Care provider teams to exceed clinical outcomes
Analyze financial and quality outcomes data to uncover performance issues and leading the execution of improvement opportunities
Analyze provider and product related budget requests and support management of site specific budgets
Responsible for working with Company leadership to define short and long-term goals and objectives for primary care clinical functions in line with the strategy of the Health System
Manage Primary Care, Walk-in and Urgent Care, Gynecology, and ER provider productivity, revenue, performance reporting
Manage expenses to budget and product line goals including provider labor and clinical supplies
Work closely with clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure campus-wide efficiencies on a daily basis.
Manage and reduce slippage via provided reports / dashboard on a daily basis.
Work with Care Delivery and Leadership teams on the identification, planning, and management of operational initiatives and strategic planning for growth and expansion of new services and locations
Manage team member performance, analyze individual and team performance against key performance indicators and metrics, foster an environment of candor and collaboration to address performance deficiencies and provide coaching/mentoring to ensure the highest levels of individual and team performance
Interface with medical staff, administrative leadership and key departments to assure productive and positive working relationships
Assists Leadership and Care Delivery teams to ensure providers and clinical services offered are approved and operate in compliance with CH policy, procedure and government agencies such as Joint Commission, DOH, etc.
Support patient acquisitions efforts and identify opportunities for volume growth. Participate in activities to promote awareness and market the services of the clinic in the surrounding community (health fairs, seminars, employer relations, community outreach).

Ability to guide and utilize advanced analytics, including clinical and claims data, to drive and optimize clinical operations
Education and/or experience: Bachelors degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university; Masters degree (MBA or MHA) preferred; minimum 10 years of related experience and/or training; or, equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven ability to recruit and manage providers
Highly effective leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a cross functional team
At least 5-7 years of experience demonstrating progressively increasing responsibility and accountability for driving results. Demonstrated success in a healthcare setting leading a mid-size organization or a division of a large organization.
Work location and travel expectations:
Lehigh Valley, PA. Position requires travel to support greater Lehigh Valley and new expansion markets as implemented. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be required.
