Serves in a dual role as Head Golf Coach for the Men's and Women's teams of Oxford College of Emory University and as an instructor of credit-bearing courses, with each role representing one half of overall responsibilities. As Head Golf Coach, coordinates and conducts all aspects of the golf program including (but not limited to) practices, games, recruiting, fundraising, discipline, and monitoring of academic progress of student athletes at the Oxford College of Emory University. Responsible for classroom instruction by serving as an academic instructor. Complies with all policies and regulations governing the National Junior College Athletic Association, Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association, Oxford College of Emory University, and the Center for Healthful Living (CHL). Opportunity to organize and direct successful youth camps and clinics, contacting local organizations for summer camps. Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A Master's degree (physical education or exercise science preferred) and one (1) year of coaching experience. Golf coaching experience, preferably at the college level. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Prior teaching experience, preferably at the college level.
