Join us and start doing your life's best work.Primary Responsibilities:Provide excellent service to walk - in membersActs as a customer advocate in providing assistance to resolve members issues and problemsFollow - up calls to members with resolution to identified issues in timely mannerResolves inquiries related to authorizations, claims, enrollment, and billingProvides service requests to other departments as neededFulfills material requests for membersMaintains accurate member data, including addresses, phone numbers, and PCP changesInputs data in system for record tracking and issue resolutionDocuments all issues in system in a timely mannerProactively educates members on cover benefits, plan exclusions, and procedures to enhance total customer service experiencePromotes various store events and seminars to customersAssists members to apply for various government assistance programsPerforms accountabilities in accordance with established organizational metrics Identifies trends and continuously makes recommendations to improve processesReports issues or problems with members, systems and processes to managerAssists and involves in member retention projectsPerforms other related projects and duties as assignedDemonstrate the ability to build and maintain productive working relationship with others and contribute as an effective team memberPerforms Insides sales function to increase new businessService walk - in prospects interested in Medicare and Individual ProductsResponsible for the daily support of the sales function to minimize the administrative work of producers
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED (or higher)California Health License required or the ability to obtain license within 30 days of employmentAbility to navigate through multiple computer programs including the ability to go into Microsoft Excel and create spreadsheets and the ability to update Microsoft Word documentsBilingual in Korean and English Preferred Qualifications:1+ years of Case Management experienceCareers at UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual.
